ENTREPRENEURIAL DEI INTERN

(Remote) - Part-Time

Join me in building the future of the fair & inclusive workplaces as an intern! This internship offers a hands-on experience in digital marketing, data analytics, and business operations. If you’ve ever wanted to work with a business leader in the consulting industry, here’s your chance! Ideal for high school students and college graduates looking to build their resumes and gain real-world experience in the field of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and analyzing data to support operational changes with our clients

  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters.

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends.

  • Support the planning and execution of client assessments & projects.

  • Collaborate with team members on creative projects and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • High school senior, college student, or recent graduate ideally with interest in Business, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or Project Management (but not required).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.

  • Creative thinking and attention to detail. Open to feedback and coaching.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of Python is a big plus! (but not required)

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain practical experience in entrepreneurship, data visualization, and client management.

  • Develop skills in social media management and data analytics.

  • Understand the basics of DEI research and social justice data analysis.

  • Enhance teamwork and project management abilities.

Supervision and Mentorship:

  • Report to the Head Strategist and receive regular feedback.

  • Participate in mentorship sessions with industry professionals in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practice space.

  • Opportunities for networking and attending professional development workshops.

Duration and Schedule:

  • Summer internship, from June 1 to August 15.

  • Flexible schedule, approximately 20 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Paid internship with a stipend of $500 per month.

  • Access to company events and resources.

Work Environment:

  • 100% Remote.

  • Must have a computer/laptop and internet connection.
